Umbrella Stands: Really?

When’s the last time you saw an umbrella stand in someone’s home? Can you even remember a time? Umbrella stands may not be considered a necessary household furniture piece anymore, but there are actually good reasons to have one in your home – reasons that you probably haven’t considered in the past.

Reason # 1: Umbrella stands add style to the front entrance

The front entryway is a hard spot to decorate. You generally don’t have a lot of space to work with and bigger furniture can make the area feel cramped. An umbrella holder stand can be used as that “extra something” your space was missing and will help the front entrance look a little less bare.

Reason #2: Indoor umbrella stands can be combined with a coat rack

If you want to use an umbrella stand mostly for its functional purposes, why not make it even more useful by getting an umbrella stand/coat rack combination? This 2-in-1 piece of furniture will help keep your space organized and tidier and is especially useful if you have company over often.

Reason #3: Keep water from tracking into your home with umbrella holders

As you already know and have probably experienced, umbrellas don’t automatically dry off once you step indoors. When you bring a wet umbrella inside your home, you are also tracking in water. This can be damaging to your floors, especially if you have hardwood. With a stand in your home, you won’t have to carry the umbrellas past the front entrance and can keep water from tracking indoors.

Umbrella stands are the perfect combination of functional and stylish. Consider adding an umbrella stand to your front entrance and you’ll never want to do without it again.
